Path Input: Better Swipe Keyboard App Reviews

It is okay

Bad: I dont like how when I allow the app on my phone it says this is a third party app that can use any information typed into it including credit cards and passwords. I would like some reassurance that this wont happen. As I type this review the page doesnt scroll up as the words move down, I have to keep pulling the screen up. When typing not using swipe the a and L keys seem to be less sensitive than the others. You cant autocapitalize more than one letter in a row... You have to keep pressing the shift/capitalize button. Im not sure what the toggle button inbetween the keyboard icon and settings icon is for. Good: The swipe works very well. I like that the numbers and hashtags are more easiy accessible. I like that the keyboard can be closed more easily.

Great

This little app is great at detecting what you are saying and suggesting words as options for the swipe you made. Ive tried several and this one is worth paying for. Ive not been paid or endorsed by the company to write this review.

Doesnt work

After the last update I had to eliminate english language in order to use mine. Its not multilanguage. Please, do not update no more.

Horrible

Auto correct is horrible, this app does not understand the English dictionary. I tried swyping the word "auto" & to no avail it worked the first 5 tries. You literally have to go slow as a turtle for it to understand what word you want to use. This goes for almost every word you try to Swype. Unbelievable, just like any other Swype app that doesnt work.

There is no better keyboard if you like to swipe

As good as google keyboard or better, i like my I phone again

Ridiculous permission needed to use app

In order for the app to work, it requires you to give the developer access to anything you type or have typed, which may include passwords

Another app called Swipe is much better.

Swype can anticipate and correct on the fly. I used Path for days and it really was a waste of time. I also was not able to get it to work for at least a week! Tech support was slow to respond and couldnt figure out why it wasnt working. Im getting rid of it and going back to Swype.

An example of bad developer (updated)

Not Sure why anyone would use this over Gboard?!

Great app!

Finally I found an app to swipe! So much faster than regular writing!! I had it on my Samsung and I wanted on my iPhone! Thank you!

Amazing app!!!!

I hate androids but I had to use one for a week and although I hated it, the feature I loved was the swipe texting feature!! Now I have it all!! Love this app! Super accurate text prediction and actually offers emojis in the predictive bar also!!!

Decent

Good features and no bugs. Prediction a little weak, which is important since its difficult to go back and change an incorrect word. Moved back to swype, but will check in later to see if this gets better.

Dev Website pulls up google phishing warning!

OK this is the first time Im using a swipe style keyboard app and definitely impressed but thank God I didnt allow full access as going to pathinput dot com site pulls up a google PHISHING alert. I also am quite leary of any business simply stating they keep info sage as Id much rather see a comprehensive safety policy. This is esp important considering the ability of the app to transmit data retroactively!

Works good!

Overall the new version works pretty well, worth the purchase.

Quite good

The keyboard is beautiful. Everything is well designed. The only downside is the swipe is not as good as Swype or the new Gboard.

Best swipe and general use kboard

Stellar! This is excellent kb to use all the time. Extremely useful, multipurpose, and well-designed. Fast and very responsive, as is the support. Superior swipe. *As for the review about phishing - Google warnings are erroneous. My site was/is incorrectly labeled by Google - its a site for teaching English that was built and is managed solely by me (from WordPress.org). I know keyboards! Ive had up to 5 active at one time. There are so many keyboards that have features that are too specific - not generally usable, stupid, hard to use, poorly developed or designed. Ive used several swipe keyboards. I came back to this one after using Google which, after a while of fun and silly use, stopped any keyboards from opening at all - I think heavy daily use clogged it up. This has so many useful features and is integrated well with iOS. Its even improved since Ive last used it. My favorite features: editable, stored, words - I add my e-mail addresses, cursor movement button - stellar! Great predictive results. Great support. Hats off to the developers!

I dont recommend this product.

I bought it thinking it would be a better alternative to SwiftKey, a free product. Its not. Two reasons: horrible predictions and overpriced for the low quality.

Nope

Free keyboard is better. This thing is dumb and has bugs. Deleting!

Cant use Korean

Where is Korean keyboard? I installed because I read what Korean keyboard was one of supporting keyboard in ur info. But I cant find selecting option. Too bad.

Genial!

I personally thought that this app was just a gadget but I tried it in French, Spanish and now I am writing it in English inside the app. Incredible. Not only it is smart (it corrects most of your typing errors) but it also proposes a number of words in case the one it understood was not the right one. A must have, and i use ios 7.1 by the way...

Not useful at all!

I bought this app thinking it was going to work in all iphone apps, emails, notes, etc. It doesnt. The keybord only work with its app open.
